Music has to come from the heart. It has to be about life. And you need to be able to live with it. I owe much to Margaret Chaloff, Joel Forbes, Dave McKenna, Bill Evans, and NYC jazz greats in the late 50s. Since that era I have continued to perform and to compose in a variety of genres.
